Valentine’s Day Makeup Look

So in preparation of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to do a face of the day sort of what I will most likely be wearing on Valentine’s Day.

I have a good mixture of both high-end and drugstore and of course if wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Day makeup look without some pinks and mauves.

To prime I used the Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro Primer, for my foundation I used my tried and true Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Toast.

I used my Beauty Blender to blend it out. Then I go in with my Maybelline Age Rewind in Brighten under the eyes.

Next I took the Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Concealer Crayon  in Medium deep and put it in between my eyebrows, around my nose, my chin and then under my eyes. I took my Beauty Blender again and blended everything out.

For powder I used the Coty Airspun Powder (the best powder ever in my opinion) in Translucent Extra Coverage and set my face.To contour I used Kat Von D’s Shade and Light Palette in the colors Shadowplay and Subconscious.Under the eye I used Lyric and Lucid to brighten the under eye even more.

For brows I used the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics  Palette, I use the shades Primal and Undone to fill them in. Then I set them with the Loreal Brow Stylist Plumper in Medium To Dark.

I went for my trusty Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, it’s got a great selection of dusty mauves and even a nice rosy toned taupe shade. I applied the matte shade in Limit all over the eye and the lower lashline, I then followed by blending Nooner in the crease. To highlight the brow bone I used Strange to help clean up my blending and right under the arch applied Dust.

I used the Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Eyeliner in Copper in the inner corner to brighten up my eyes, and the lined my waterline and tightlined with Macs Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline. To finish off the eyes I coated my lashes top and bottom with Maybelline Volume Express The Falsies Push-Up Drama Mascara in Black

For cheeks I used the super affordable E.L.F Blush Palette in Dark, I used the peachy shade in the top left corner of the palette. I love this because it is super pigmented and barely cost a dime.

My highlight is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Rose Gold, I apply this to the top of my cheekbones. The bridge and top of my nose and my cupid’s bow.

For lips I went with a dark vampy lip, for some it may be a little much but for me I think it adds something interesting to the look and who doesn’t love a matte vampy lip. For this look I used Maybelline’s Matte Sensational Lipstick in Divine Wine.If this is too much for you, I highly recommend Colourpop’s Matte Lipstick in Trap or YSL Rouge Volupte in Nude Beige.

To finish off the look I misted my face with the Loreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray and was ready to rock!

So there is my Valentine’s Day Makeup look, I may do a video next time. Let me know what you think?

Happy Wishes!
